The Trio Parnassus has just been awarded the prestigious German Music Critics' Award for their latest release, the complete Piano Quartets of Robert Schumann. This recording, with the violist Hariolf Schlichtig, includes a world-premiere release of the unfinished early Quartet in c-minor from 1829. The reknowned Schumann scholar, Dr. Joachim Draheim completed the work in commission for the Trio Parnassus.
