Friends of the TRIO PARNASSUS

Come with us up to Parnassus!

"Become a member of the Friends."

The performance of chamber music on the highest artistic level, the presentation of the repertoire of musical masterworks in all their fascinating variety, and the formation of a financial basis and infrastructure for the support of inspiring interpretations in times when public funding has been curtailed - these are the goals of the Friends of the Trio Parnassus.

Music is meant to be a living concert experience for an open, engaged public just waiting to be enthused, whose members lend their support to this idea - and not for a "private club" of classical initiates.

The artistic focus of the project is the Trio Parnassus, an ensemble based in Stuttgart and numbering among the world's elite, a trio formation expanding for certain programs to include professional colleagues and promising young talents.

Every year at least three Parnassus concerts - each at five o'clock on Sunday - are held at venues such as the Marble Hall in Weißenburg Park or the Balcony Hall at Hohenheim Castle. We invite you to join us on our way up to the musical Parnassus and to become a member of the Friends of Trio Parnassus, a society for the patrons and friends of chamber music.

Members will receive the Trio Parnassus CD of their choice (see: www.trioparnassus.com):

- with their membership in the Friends

- with the purchase of an annual subscription (three concerts)

Free admission for children under fifteen years of age.
